The Grosse Ile Township Schools Board heard demonstrations from Middle School Innovation & Entrepreneurship students and updates from the Parent-Teacher (PAT) group and district finance staff during its Feb. 25 meeting.
Students from the Middle School Innovation & Entrepreneurship class showed inventions and described recent projects to trustees. Rita Calcut, speaking for the PAT, said the group "is now at both elementaries, the middle school and the high school" and highlighted the PAT's role in fundraising and programming across grade levels. The district chief financial officer then presented details of the 2024–2025 amended budget (presenter name not specified in the minutes). The board later approved the amended budget by motion.
