Lucas County sets FY2027 wages for public health and conservation staff

The Board approved FY2027 hourly and annual wages for Lucas County Public Health employees and Conservation staff, effective July 1, 2026; public health hourly rates ranged from $16.56 to $30.80.
At the July 15 meeting, the Lucas County Board of Supervisors approved hourly wages for Lucas County Public Health staff for fiscal year 2027. The approved rates recorded in the minutes were: Michelle Scieszinsi $19.56/hour; Alicia Lnch $30.80/hour; Gerry Evans $18.11/hour; Lynda Amos $18.11/hour; Dawn Nelson $17.06/hour; and Valarie Berry $16.56/hour, all effective July 1, 2026.
The board also set conservation department salaries, including Skylar Hobbs at $62,023.00 (Conservation Director) and Jodi Ogden at $45,790.47 (Naturalist). Motions to approve the staffing wages were made and seconded and recorded as carried without opposition.
