The Lucas County Board of Supervisors on June 19 approved a resolution that sets a new pay scale for sheriff's deputies effective July 1, 2026. The approved schedule sets starting pay at $32.03 per hour, increases to $32.28 after six months, $32.53 after another six months, $33.03 after one year and $33.83 after the next year. The board also set the Chief Deputy rate at $43.01 per hour.
