Superintendent reports pool repair quote, sinking-fund site visits and free practice-field work

Superintendent Jamie Kraatz told the board the district has received a quote to address water loss at the Heritage High School pool; the minutes indicate the board received the quote and that repairs will likely need to proceed quickly because the pool is used by several groups over the summer.
Kraatz also reported that Spence Brothers conducted site visits at White Pine and Arrowwood to evaluate sinking-fund projects for parking lots and boilers. The minutes note White Pine’s practice field will be worked on at no cost to the district. Additionally, Steve Elliott has coordinated with the Saginaw County Road Commission to replace district signs at an estimated labor and materials cost of about $4,000, to be paid from the public surplus fund.
