No April meeting likely; council appoints new planning commissioner (Cal Couch)

Planning staff reported there are no rezoning cases on the horizon and therefore the commission likely will not meet in April. "We do not we have not received any rezoning cases. So we do not have an April meeting," a staff member said. Staff advised commissioners to keep the April date open until the calendar is finalized and said the next meeting may be in May.
Staff also announced that Mayor and Council appointed Cal Couch as the new planning commissioner to replace Chris Jackson. The planner said he will introduce Cal to the commission by email, that staff will provide orientation, and that the commission should expect a possible photo session when a new member is seated. Commissioners thanked outgoing commissioner Chris Jackson for his service.
