Subcommittee members reported progress toward written park work plans and a cautious approach to full engineering designs. The staff member said the committee will take playground-sign requests individually and develop park-specific goals before investing in full master plans or engineering drawings. "So, playground signs, we've pretty much decided we're gonna take them as they come in at the moment and just look at them 1 by 1 until we come up with a design," the staff member said.
The committee also described GPS-mapping of garden beds and considered a unified online adoption form that could include plots outside city limits (to be coordinated with neighboring jurisdictions). Members discussed whether to remove long-neglected beds or seek volunteers to adopt them, and they agreed to sit down with the volunteer subcommittee once the map is complete to identify next steps and outreach strategies.
