GiaMed, founder of You All Naturals, said the team goes into homeless shelters with cosmetologists, stylists and makeup artists — many with industry experience — to give shelter residents free hair and makeup services and professional photos. “We came up with the idea to go into homeless shelters and women, homeless we we have men also...and just provide them a day of beauty,” GiaMed said, describing how the effort aims to restore confidence and help people present themselves for jobs or interviews.
Ashley Bernice Letang, a licensed cosmetologist and founder of Afro by Ashley, discussed hair‑care education and styling for natural hair types. Organizers said shelters or individuals can contact the You All Naturals Instagram or email the business (provided in the segment) to request services, coordinate dates and discuss donations of supplies or talent.
