Council accepts Robert Tebedo as Volunteer Fire Department chief

The Lake Park City Council accepted Robert Tebedo as Volunteer Fire Department Chief during the July 7 meeting. Council Member Arthur Keckley moved the acceptance and Council Member Busby Courson seconded; the motion carried unanimously, 3-0.
Earlier in the meeting Chief Tebedo presented the fire department activity report for May and June and asked about turnout-gear procurement; council members confirmed the gear is budgeted in the Capital Project Budget and instructed the department to submit a purchase order through the usual channels.
