Resident Daniella Kosolova told the Board of County Commissioners that some grant-funded projects focused on green spaces and river improvements appear to lack sufficient community oversight and that county housing and services are being overshadowed. "The major issue that the county has is the housing and services. There is no places to live, and, that's getting overshadowed by these grants," Kosolova said.
Kosolova urged commissioners to monitor projects for ongoing maintenance and operational costs and to use local expertise when planning grant-funded work. Commissioners thanked her for the comment; the public comment period then closed and the board proceeded to administrative business.
