Housing authority approves transfer-fee exemption for Coyote Creek sale to Rick and Susan Russell

Sheena Durlan, director for the Grand County Housing Authority, presented an application for an exemption from the Coyote Creek transfer fee for Lot 24, Unit 37 and said the paperwork had been completed with applicant and grantor fields reversed but would be corrected. "The applicant for this application will be Rick and Susan Russell," Durlan told commissioners, naming the buyers and saying the seller is Brian McMillan.
Durlan asked the board to approve the exemption so the closing could proceed this week; commissioners discussed the transfer-fee provision that allows a first transfer from the developer to be exempt and approved the housing director's requested letter of exemption and subsequent resolution work.
