County Manager Moyer told the Board of County Commissioners that Denver Water had disbursed CRCA (Colorado River Cooperative Agreement) funds and that escalation calculations raised the total to "over $6,400,000." He said staff would notify recipients and proceed under previously approved resolutions, although a few reconciliations remain.
Moyer reviewed allocations: section 3.2 funds (originally $2,000,000, now escalated) for wastewater treatment plant water-quality improvements distributed among several districts; section 3.e.3 funds previously used for aquatic improvements; learning-by-doing funds totaling about $1,250,000 after escalation; and an additional approximately $2,000,000 (escalated) for Winter Park Water & Sanitation District projects including a Jim Creek pipeline and a Fraser River pump and pipeline tied to a 40-acre-foot discovery pond for snowmaking. Moyer said staff will perform required reconciliations and notify entities before disbursement under existing board resolutions.
Commissioners asked for a written breakdown and Moyer offered to email the detailed escalation figures to the board.
