The Saginaw Township Board of Education spent part of its April 25, 2025 P3 (Policies, Procedures and Practices) meeting reviewing a potential bond proposal for Saginaw Township Community Schools. Representatives from WT Architects, Spence Brothers and RC Hendrick & Son made presentations to the board during the session at Arrowwood Conference Center.
The board’s minutes state only that members “participated in a discussion regarding the potential STCS Bond proposal” and list the three presenting firms; they do not record a dollar amount, a defined list of projects to be funded, or any motion or vote on the proposal. Jamie Kraatz, the superintendent, and district finance staff were present for the discussion, but no formal action is recorded in the minutes.
Board attendance at the start of the meeting included President Janice Collison, Marianne Bird, Michele DeShone and David Jaffe; additional members Arik Smith, Jenean Coughlin and David Booth are recorded as arriving later. The minutes list Michael Waldie as director of finance among staff present. The meeting adjourned at 4:25 p.m., and the minutes contain no note of a decision, vote tally, or next step for the bond proposal.
