District to expand student meal choices after focus-group recommendations

Payton Strobel of Food Service presented findings from a student focus group that included elementary, middle and high school students and the SMOB representative. The group developed recommendations for menu changes; Strobel said the district will offer a wider variety of choices beginning in the second semester and continuing into the next school year.
Superintendent Dr. Roberts and trustees thanked students and staff for their participation in the review. Trustee Nash specifically thanked Strobel and the student participants and urged the community to support the food service program going forward.
