Clerk Ashley Bondell said the town code indicates responsibility runs from the curbstop to the main, while Mayor Gary Thielen said he believed the town's obligation would be from the pit back toward the main line. The council asked Clerk Bondell to contact the town attorney, Darcy Wassmann, to determine the legal steps and record language needed to show the town is responsible for upkeep. No formal conveyance was approved at the meeting.
