Dylan Wilson, public works director for the town of Kremling, asked the board to support a lighting upgrade project for the community hockey rink. Wilson said the project request was for $30,000 and that the written quote in the packet was $24,700; the larger $30,000 request covers relocating fixtures to meet standards so games can resume.
Commissioners discussed how to split the contribution across county commissioner districts and decided to fund 50% from district 3 and 25% each from the other two districts. Wilson said the town will invest remaining capital improvements in locker-room heating and electrical upgrades from its own capital-improvement plan. The BOCC approved the CTF award and authorized the chair to sign documents.
