Summary
The Board approved an intergovernmental agreement with Summit County Public Health to provide WIC director and registered dietitian services to Grand County WIC for $35,529.20, effective Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 next year; the director said partnership funding reduced the county share by about $20,000.

Abby Baker, director of Grand County Public Health, told commissioners the board was being asked to approve an intergovernmental agreement that will bring WIC director and registered dietitian services to the county. "The contract amount is for $35,529.20. And that contract is in place from October 1 through September 30 of next year," Baker said.
Baker said the county’s cost is lower this year because the program partnered with the Colorado WIC grant and Summit County Public Health is receiving additional funds to support the partnership, "which is alleviating some of the pressure on us to maintain that partnership with Summit County." The board moved to approve the agreement, and the motion carried with affirmative votes from the commissioners present.
