The Town of Hillsborough Architecture and Design Review Board approved four consent calendar items at its June 15 meeting: 20 Calaveras Court, 931 Parrott Drive, 1495 Crystal Drive and 20 Denham Court. The board voted unanimously to approve the projects, finding them consistent with the Residential Design Guidelines and subject to standard conditions of approval and the staff memo.
The approved projects vary in scale. The 20 Calaveras Court proposal adds about 842 sq ft to an existing 3,604 sq ft home (resulting in a total of roughly 4,445 sq ft and an FAR of about 17% on a 26,087 sq ft lot). The 931 Parrott Drive project includes a 1,302 sq ft addition and a new 1,102 sq ft basement for a total near 4,928 sq ft (FAR ~21.4%). The 1495 Crystal Drive addition would add about 1,262 sq ft to a 3,248 sq ft residence (total ~4,510 sq ft, FAR ~20.4%). The 20 Denham Court proposal is a smaller rear second-story addition of about 287 sq ft (total ~5,355 sq ft, FAR ~24.3%).
Board member Yuvi Gill moved to approve the consent calendar, Breigh McCall seconded, and the roll call vote was unanimous (Gill, McCall, Neidig, Ken, Filer — all Aye). All items are subject to the standard conditions of approval listed in the staff memos.
