Resident urges Poulsbo to remove proposed future road through her property

Lau said she and neighbors had raised the issue previously and described a recent conversation with the mayor in which he indicated the map would be changed to show generalized corridor boxes rather than the precise line that currently crosses her property.
"With the adjustments that the mayor has indicated will be made... we feel more comfortable that you are not trying to drive us out," Lau said. She asked to see the revised map and said she hoped the change would resolve the concern without further action. Council members acknowledged the comment and staff said they would follow up with the planning and engineering departments to present a revised map.
