A resident asked what steps are required before selling, moving or transferring a mobile home. The county assessor said the most important requirement is proving ownership with a vehicle title from the department of vehicles and motors: "tiene que tener su título del departamento de vehículos y motores."
The assessor added that owners can come to the assessor’s office to obtain a tax certificate showing taxes have been paid, which facilitates moving the mobile home without problems. The assessor recommended bringing the title and the tax certificate when preparing to transfer or relocate a mobile home.
