Lancaster planning board tables New Enterprise Stone & Lime site plan after drainage and setback revisions

David Studd of La Bella Associates returned to the Lancaster Planning Board to present revised site plans for the New Enterprise Stone & Lime project. Studd said the owners moved the facility "south 30 feet from their property line and 120 feet from the residential district" so the new plant would be entirely within the industrial zoning district and would not require rezoning.
Studd told the board the revised submission included updated drainage details, a proposed yard hydrant and minor engineering edits. He said the team had provided the drawings "yesterday" and identified a few remaining engineering comments, including confirming drainage routing to an existing on-site storm pond. Engineering recommended additional review before final action. The board voted to table the application to the next meeting to allow time for staff and engineering to complete their review.
