Board appoints Jenni Wolgast to fill Swartz Creek school board vacancy

Using that points system, the board tallied results: Jenni Wolgast — 8 points; Jessica Lanave — 6 points; John Knickerbocker — 4 points. The resolution states Wolgast will serve the unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2026.
The appointment followed formal procedure to fill a vacancy. The meeting record notes thanks to departing member Alyssa Bouchard; the board plans to continue regular business at its next meeting on Oct. 22, 2025.
