The Claymont City School District Board of Education on Jan. 12 voted unanimously to approve the district's financial report for December 2025, payment of bills and prior meeting minutes and to accept a $5,000 donation from the Uhrichsville Eagles for the Intermediate School's "Girls with Pearls" program. Mrs. Host moved the treasurer's recommendations; Mr. Peters seconded and on roll call vote Ms. Campbell, Mrs. Grandison, Mrs. Host, Mr. Peters and Mrs. Wolf voted yes.
Treasurer Kim Beckley reviewed the December financial presentation for the board before the vote. The board also approved the minutes of the Dec. 8, 2025 regular meeting and the Dec. 17, 2025 special meeting as part of the motion. The board's action was recorded as "Motion carried." The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Feb. 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Claymont Administrative Office.
