Commissioner Sjoberg moved to award the contract and the motion was seconded; roll call votes recorded unanimous support among those present. The contract award includes a recommended budget amendment so the work can proceed this construction season.
Staff described this work as routine maintenance — a protective seal coating to match the reservoir's existing finish — not a decorative treatment. Commissioners heard no objections during discussion and approved the motion. The city will publish contract details and a project schedule as procurement paperwork is finalized.
