WLRH reports $3.1 million in TV revenue and strong membership gains through March

The foundation's finance presenter reported that television revenue for the year to date through the end of March was $3,100,000, a 40% increase over the prior year and equal to about 70% of the FY26 budget. "For television, for year to date through the end of March, we are at 3,100,000 in revenue," the presenter said during the meeting.
The presenter said membership revenue accounted for $2,200,000 of that total and highlighted increases in passport membership and sustainers. He reported total PBS members at 26,262 and passport members at 19,562, noting a net rise of 420 members since the end of January and an increase of 1,624 active sustainers over the prior quarter. "Of that, we of passport members, we have 19,562," he said. The presenter attributed some membership growth to cross-state registration and inquiries from listeners and viewers in Pensacola and the Panhandle tied to a different station's pending disaffiliation.
The finance presenter framed the results as outperforming budgeted pacing on television while noting some radio line items lagged; he also outlined next steps for fundraising, membership staffing and transitions in the fundraising CRM. Board members did not propose further action during the presentation, and the figures will be reflected in upcoming financial materials.
