The local building authority of North Salt Lake approved a resolution to consolidate and transfer parcels for the Hatch Park expansion.
City staff described the parcel map and said the authority currently owns six of the 15 parcels and plans to consolidate seven parcels into Parcel 1 and eight parcels into Parcel 2 to correct property-line discrepancies and avoid encumbrances tied to Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) park grants. City staff explained the transfers will be completed by quitclaim deed from the local building authority to the City of North Salt Lake.
During the public hearing, a resident questioned historical naming confusion in records and welcomed the consolidation so future title searches are clearer. The board then moved and seconded the resolution (introduced as “LBA 2026-01R”) and approved it by voice vote. The local building authority adjourned afterward.
