The Park and Recreation Board may soon have its own equipment trailer: staff recommended buying a CarMate Sportster trailer quoted at $5,005.15 to store cones, generators and event equipment, an item budgeted from the general capital fund. "I would like to go with the Sportster as it has a side door, which I do believe provides an additional convenience," staff said; the board voted to approve the purchase and authorized the township manager to sign order paperwork.
In related personnel action, the board moved to appoint Kathy Ruth to the Park and Recreation Board to fill open seats with a term ending Dec. 31, 2028. The motion passed unanimously. Supervisors noted the appointment will fill vacancies and thanked staff for providing quotes and budget confirmation for the trailer purchase.
