Council weighs public-art possibility but staff flags delay risk

Councilmember Scott suggested art could be added after the bridge is constructed and painted, during a later period. Vice Mayor Muszynski indicated willingness to explore art options if feasible, though staff reiterated there is no art work incorporated into the contract as designed.
"Is that still a possibility?" Scott asked. Staff replied, "No... the response from staff at the time was the direction was to move as expeditiously as possible with... cost as well because we're negotiating with the public." The vice mayor later said, "Happy to explore that option if that's feasible."
