Local resident Jim Muir presented a proposal at the Nov. 12 meeting for a quarterly publication that students and staff would help organize and that would be mailed to residents to highlight school topics and activities.
Muir said the publications "are put together with input from students and staff, while the publisher takes care of the graphic design, printing, mailing, etc." He noted grants or advertising options could help defray publication costs; the board did not take formal action on the suggestion during the meeting.
