Board approves final adjustments on Sesame Street and Addison Creek projects

Staff said unit-price balancing produced the savings and that the SSA (special service area) charges to property owners will be reduced accordingly.
On the Addison Creek Stormwater Phase 2 project, staff described soils and groundwater challenges that required additional dewatering, excavation and stone replacement. The board approved change order No. 2, adding $211,736.17 to bring the final contract to $2,891,342.79. Staff praised the contractor for completing the work under difficult conditions.
