The board approved a three-year maintenance contract with OpenGov at a total not-to-exceed amount of $170,731.86. Staff said the village has used the Cartograph platform since 2015, that OpenGov acquired Cartograph, and that the administration negotiated to lock the village's prices at current rates before an anticipated October price increase.
"There's a planned price hike in October. So I was able to get our prices locked in at the current prices before October for the next 3 years," staff said, and the board approved the resolution on a roll-call vote with six trustees voting yes.
