The board then approved a $300,000 appropriation for 2025 MFT uses—$200,000 for pavement patching and $100,000 for sidewalk removal and replacement—with staff planning to bring contract specifics to the board after IDOT approval.
Separately, the board authorized a contract not to exceed $105,150.26 with McGinty Brothers for 2025–2028 native-vegetation maintenance across four stormwater basins; staff said McGinty was the lowest of seven bidders. "We did bid this out. McGinty Brothers was the lowest bidder of 7 bids opened on July 8 in the amount of $105,150.26," staff said before the board approved the resolution.
