Village extends cured-in-place sewer lining contract for up to $199,302.50

The board approved extension No. 1 of the construction contract with Performance Pipelining Incorporated (Ottawa, Illinois) for the village's 2025 cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) sewer-lining program at a not-to-exceed $199,302.50. Staff said the trenchless CIPP work will rehabilitate 4,910 feet of sanitary sewer and include 93 service reinstatements, and that the price is just under the village's $200,000 budget for the program.
Staff explained the municipal partnering initiative with Bartlett that secured the original contract and that the extension is being exercised at 2024 prices. The board approved the resolution by roll call.
