Magistrate gives 30 days to enclose dumpster in six-year-old Cedar Property case

Officer Dora Valle told the magistrate she inherited a 2020 case for Cedar Property in which the property has not provided the required enclosure for an on-site dumpster. Photographs from 2020 and 07/01/2026 show the dumpster still unenclosed.
The owner did not appear; Officer Valle said the respondent contacted her and said he works on a cruise ship and would not be at the hearing. Given the case’s age and unrebutted evidence, Magistrate Rafael Suarez Rivas found a violation and allowed the owner 30 days to enclose the dumpster. If the enclosure is not completed by the set date there will be a $350 per-day fine and a $100 administrative fee.
