The Loma Prieta Joint Union Elementary board publicly recognized several staff members who are leaving or changing roles. Trustees and parents gave personal tributes describing long service, community impact and programs led by the honorees.
Speakers singled out Stacy Dorn for nine years of service and infectious energy; Casey Blake was thanked for building the K–8 band program across 12 years. The board also honored the district’s transportation lead, widely referred to as “Skip,” for managing the fleet and developing revenue‑generating agreements. Trustees presented certificates, flowers and oral commendations during the recognition portion of the meeting.
