Sheriff's office details shakedowns, metal detectors and scanning to fight contraband

Buckner also described a scanning protocol for new detainees and staff, saying the jail uses equipment described as similar to an "airport scanner" (referred to as tech 81/84) and that recovered contraband is handled in coordination with the district attorney to add charges where possible.
