City Council hears update on Parks and Open Space Master Plan

Adam Olsen, Midvale Community Development Director, introduced MHTN consultant Ryan Wallace, who gave a mid-project update on the Parks and Open Space Master Plan. Wallace said the consultant team is "halfway through the project," and reviewed goals for improved programming, connectivity and maintenance of park areas.
The presentation outlined next steps for community engagement and refinement of design recommendations. Olsen said the plan will guide investments and help prioritize projects across Midvale’s park system; the city will return to the council with further recommendations as the consultant completes the second half of the work.
