Council approves Raven Rock water and sewer requisitions and authorizes administrative services

Harold (speaker 4), the engineer, said the Raven Rock water and sewer work is progressing in design: "He's about almost like 50% done with design on that for the Raven Rock water and Sewer extension." Council then approved Requisition Certificate No. 1 for the Raven Rock sewer line extension ($15,250) and a separate requisition for engineering design of the Raven Rock water line ($27,500). Motions were made, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The council also approved a resolution authorizing the mayor to sign a contract with the Kentucky River Area Development District to administer KIA funds for the Raven Rock water project; the resolution was adopted following a motion and voice vote. Council discussed the timeline and next steps for bidding once design and equipment lead times are resolved.
