Council approves dockets and payroll; two council recusals recorded

The City Council approved several routine financial items at its July 21 meeting. Councilwoman Amy Brandenstein introduced the Docket of Claims A and Councilman Chris Blythe seconded; the council voted unanimously to adopt it. Brandenstein recused herself for Docket of Claims B; Councilman Felix Fornett introduced that order, Councilman Carlos Stallworth seconded, and the item passed with Brandenstein recorded as recused. Councilman Chris Blythe recused himself from the payroll docket; Councilwoman Brandenstein introduced the payroll order, Councilman Stallworth seconded, and the payroll docket was adopted with Blythe recorded as recused.
The minutes record the motions, seconds and roll-call AYE votes for the items and note the recusals and returns to the meeting by the recused members after the relevant votes.
