Special education coordinator Nate Longton reported that the FSP went on a field trip to the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum and that several staff attended a dyslexia summit hosted by MARESA.
Longton also said early advertising for preschool screening has begun, with a larger outreach push planned for after spring break. These items were presented as informational updates and no formal board action was recorded in the minutes.
The district indicated continued support for special education programming and outreach to families of preschool-age children.
