During business actions on April 20 the NICE board acknowledged letters of retirement from Emily Arseneau, Jill Sladek, Sandy Tarvainen and Sabina Villar and accepted resignations from Jillian Mahaffey and Isabelle Shevy. Those acknowledgments were recorded by motion and carried.
The board approved hiring Jadyn Maki as a teacher on a motion by Jim Gray supported by Kathleen Carlson. Separately, the board moved by Kathleen Carlson, supported by Chad Korpi, to extend Chris Marana’s contract "as presented;" that motion also carried. The minutes do not record employment terms, contract length or effective dates for the hire and contract extension.
