County OKs design work for southern expansion of Sandidge Road rubbish pit

The motion, presented by Road Manager Robert Jarman, followed a property-line waiver agreement to correct a parcel omission for the expansion footprint; the Board approved both the waiver and the design agreement unanimously.
Road Manager Jarman said consultant Jim McNaughton will work with Allen Engineering on the design; the scope described building and filling the expanded area. The Board directed the consultant to proceed and authorized payment up to the stated contract limit when design is complete. The approval establishes the next step toward construction: preparing permit-ready plans and cost estimates for future appropriation or procurement.
