The Williamstown Selectboard set an informational meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 23 at the Public Safety Building to review two articles that will appear on the Australian ballot concerning road rehabilitation and a forensic audit. Larry Hebert said the board believes it is in voters' best interest to review the measures in person and encouraged residents to attend.
Town Manager Ryan said the town will also mail letters, post information on the town website and social media, and welcome residents to contact him directly if they prefer questions by phone or email. The Selectboard did not take any formal votes on the ballot language at the Feb. 9 meeting; the informational session is intended to clarify the articles before voting.
