Dr. Mateo told webinar attendees that the center maintains a wide range of materials designed for the public and for clinicians: booklets (Understanding PTSD, PTSD and aging), flyers, rack cards, wallet cards, short animated videos, and printable summaries. Many materials can be ordered through the Government Publishing Office and distributed in libraries and workplaces.
She described research-oriented resources for clinicians and researchers: PTSD Pubs (literature access), a PTSD repository of randomized controlled trials (over 600 RCTs dating back to 1980), and treatment briefs and tools that allow users to download data for meta-analyses or to print summaries for clinical use. The center also offers a free consultation program for providers with a 24'2 business-hour response time and over 100 free continuing-education modules.
