Local residents urge Boyne City schools to scale back bond to ease tax burden on businesses

Cindy Banner told the board she "feels that the businesses and the community has given so much to the schools that it is time the school gives back to the community." The board acknowledged those remarks but proceeded with deliberations and ultimately authorized development of ballot language for Option A, not to exceed $24 million.
