New downtown spa proprietor introduces 'Blissful Spa' to board

At the village president's report the board welcomed a new downtown business proprietor, Elizabeth Penfield, who said she plans to open "Blissful Spa" in a white building near Casey’s and expects to offer massage therapy, waxing, facials and body scrubs with plans to add a sauna and bridal makeup services later. "I have been a massage therapist for going on 4 years now and an aesthetician at the start of this last year," Penfield said, and she estimated a soft opening by March with a full launch by April depending on renovations.
Board members congratulated Penfield and offered to help publicize the opening through local channels and a ribbon‑cutting. Penfield said she would reach out to local media and thanked the board.
