A staff member (Speaker 5) explained there is a platform up top but clarified that technically landings are required and that a harness and qualified installer should be used. Committee members agreed to explore pricing and to consult the person who oversees the tower before moving forward.
They also discussed the practical size and cost of blow-mold decorations (historical purchases were donated or bought for small sums) and agreed volunteers and staff could coordinate installation if proper safety equipment and quotes are in place.
