The City Manager said he typically does not comment on pending legislation outside the city's adopted legislative priorities but told council that the city is already considering proposals to address blighted property in this year's budget process and that a recommended budget will be issued April 15. He said last year public input showed strong support for addressing blighted properties and that staff will include a proposal around that issue in the upcoming budget.
