Kai Holland said as he urged engagement with the Alaska Railroad, community councils, and nearby cities that provide emergency response. Sponsors amended the resolution on the floor to insert the Alaska Railroad in the list of entities to notify, and members emphasized the need for multi‑agency coordination to restore ramps removed during highway projects. The resolution passed 12–0 with the amendment.
