Board approves 2026 first-quarter budget amendment and forwards it to County Board

The Bayfield County Board of Health voted to accept the 2026 First Quarter Budget Amendment and forward it to the full County Board. Anne-Marie Coy, director of public health, presented the amendment and explained where revenue came in higher than initially budgeted and identified other budget adjustments; Jan Lee moved the motion and Jeff Olsen seconded. The minutes record the motion as carried.
Coy said the amendment reflects revenue increases and adjustments necessary to align department spending with current receipts. The board's approval is a recommendation to the full County Board; the amendment will take effect only upon County Board approval.
