Local IT worker urges council to demand independent analysis of proposed data center’s jobs, water and abatement costs

Hansen framed his remarks as counsel from a professional with experience in the sector and asked the council to protect the community by pursuing independent analysis and firm commitments on resource use and local hiring. Council members acknowledged the concerns and said the memorandum of agreement and related documents would be reviewed before any signature or zoning action.
